World’s Treasure, Quartz:
Cut by world master cutter "Mr.Victor Tuzlukov".
In the small valley on the shore of the mountain lake a peasant lived. He had a loving wife and four children he doted upon. They lived in peace and friendship, but in poverty; the whole family used to starve.
Once in search of daily bread the present climbed the pass and stopped in front of a deserted hut he had never heard about. He opened the door and saw a very old man.
I have been waiting for you long, The old man said. You are the chosen, who can own the World’s Treasure, but who can also loose it. If you choose to descend to the valley, you will live in love and poverty. If you go uphill, you are fated to find a cave with untold wealth. You’ll get power, money and mighty, but you’ll forget your family. Make a choice!
…They say that for many centuries this miserable has been living in the deserted hut, having lost the track of time in his dreams of the World’s Treasure. He cannot even die as he is unable to choose between heart and mind - his heart has been calling him back to the valley but his mind has been telling him persistently about mountains.
