A fine example of Burma ruby in matrix of calcite. The ruby is pink and crystalline material with high clarity. The rubies are tabular and have twinnings and appears to be in "sheets (layers)". Possibly found in a "cluster" and quality of the rubies indicate potential finer ones located in the same area this piece was found. A study specimen for you.
