Medium to light green in a square cushion cut peridot from Burma weighing 6.45 carats. Very pleasant and with good proportions and polish. Moderate to light inclusions not noticeable with the unaidede eye. Good for a ring or pendant setting. The birthstone for August, Burma peridot is among the most favored mining sources in the world. Usually Burma comes first, followed by Pakistan, a close second and Brazil and China following in terms of quality rankings. Yay for this one!
